During the first 5 days of the 5 weeks (the first four sessions), you will be taught by our tutors, who are experts in the beauty industry and will go through the theory of microblading and the practical elements of performing the procedure. This will allow you to gain comprehensive knowledge and practical experience practicing on artificial skin to perfect the art of microblading. Finally, you need expert tutoring in the microblading process itself. From the drawing of a balanced and well-proportioned stencil to the implantation of the pigment with the manual pen at the right depth in the skin. Other aspects of manual eyebrow tattooing, such as pain management, skin stretching, and follow-up, should also be covered in enough detail to give you the confidence to perform the procedure as quickly as possible. Yes, in the UK you must allow premises and (in some areas) yourself to offer semi-permanent make-up treatments. Microblading is classified as “special treatment” and allowed by local authorities, which can sometimes lead to confusion about licensing requirements. Requirements vary from region to region as directed by the municipal health department. We have compiled what we believe to be the most comprehensive microblading training manual (200 pages) and the most comprehensive course available (5 days). Take a look at the course content further down the page, or contact us via email, Facebook or phone to find out why training at Dermagraph is the best way to start your new career as a microblading artist. In summary, microblading and PMU machine have different strengths.

Microblading is best suited for sharp and defined lines such as realistic hair simulation and the machine is better for shading or color gamuts. Microblading is semi-permanent, requires loads to maintain appearance, and machine tattooing takes much longer, but may need to be corrected as it fades. If you`re not certified as a microblading artist, it can be difficult to get hired because you have less developed skills to show potential employers. Even if you can microblading but are not certified by an accredited body, employers do not want to risk that you can practice on clients because you do not have the qualification and professional training. If you offer tattoos, semi-permanent colorings (microblading/micropigmentation/tricopigmentation), cosmetic piercings, electrolysis, acupuncture, microneedling or other piercing treatments, you must be registered with us. The Dermagraph Microblading course consists of 5 days of participation followed by a period of between two and six months, during which you will develop your skills through our detailed feedback and support through 8 case studies and “skin” practices. You can work at your own pace, but it is very important to continue practicing in order to integrate the fine motor skills you need. Microblading is an acquired skill; The more practice you have, the better you improve. Knowing what to do and being able to do it professionally are two very different things.

If you think it`s similar to learning to drive, theory alone won`t make you a good driver. Only hands-on experience gives you the ability and confidence to deal with any situation you may encounter. Good teaching prevents the integration of bad habits and helps you progress faster. Ensure that purchased items meet UK and EU product testing requirements so that they meet all health and safety requirements. Under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982, registration is required for permission to practice acupuncture or cosmetic piercing, electrolysis, semi-permanent skin dyeing (such as microblading) and tattooing. The Council has statutes that must be respected. Theoretically, you don`t need to be qualified to microblad, but in practice, you can`t get a license for your premises or treatment insurance if you don`t have the proper training. If you perform the treatment while you are not authorized and uninsured, you are exposed to legal action, and it is at least irresponsible to have invasive treatment with lasting effects if you have not received the proper training. Let`s start by explaining that microblading, microcaress or eyebrow embroidery, as it is sometimes called, is an artistic treatment. You need patience, skill and a lot of practice to become a very good microblading artist. The best microblading course can help speed up the process, but there`s no substitute for dedication to your craft and the time you spend honing the skills you learn in the microblading course.

While the basic process of microblading isn`t complex, it`s not easy to do it right. Many experienced PMU artists who are used to working with machines will be surprised at how long it takes to master the technique of microblading. Never consider this treatment an easy option. Once you are able to create microblades, you will find that the machine`s PMU is easier to learn. A microblading course is the perfect introduction to a career in permanent makeup. You will spend 5 days in class and studio to cover the essentials of microblading and receive expert coaching in the technique. Continue to perform your first treatment on a live model under our direction. After participating, you will have up to six months to build a portfolio of eight case studies.

You submit your work after each study for feedback and advice. Gradually develop your skills and confidence for your final assessment and qualification. At the very least, the licensing authority must ensure that you work in a safe and hygienic environment to avoid health risks. They will check that you are properly disposing of hazardous waste and that you are qualified enough to carry out the treatment. In most cases, this means that you have completed accredited training and insurance in microblading and infection control. Most authorities provide guidance on their requirements for a special treatment license, and we recommend contacting your local council to review their criteria. The Dermagraph course has a section to help you understand and prepare for your UK licence application. We`re going to tell you a little secret. Good microblading is not easy. Lol You can only work in the area in which you are allowed. If you are moving to another part of the UK to work, you will need to contact the local council in that region. We have strict maximum class sizes from 4 students to 1 tutor to ensure you individual attention and hands-on coaching.

Everyone has their own pace and skills, and we think your microblading course should be structured to recognize that. Below is the typical daily content of the Dermagraph® Microblading Masterclass. There are plenty of choices now when it comes to semi-permanent makeup training, so you may be wondering what makes our microblading courses so different? Microblading is the most popular term for the manual method of machine-free semi-permanent tattooing. Nanoblading is microblading with an even thinner (sharper) blade. Microcaresses, Feather Touch and Eyebrow Embroidery are just different names for Microblading. Some will try to convince you that they are different and somehow better, newer or more advanced, but they really aren`t! Nanoblading can produce very complicated results, but we don`t recommend using nanoblades until you`re familiar with ordinary microblade needles.
